Shiran

“Shiran Band” is a modern heavy metal band, delivering powerful riffs with
wide range soulful singing, and taking heavy metal to the next level.
The band was founded in 2012 by Singer/composer Shiran Avayou and
Producer/guitarist Elram Boxer. (Ferium)
The band’s uniquely played sound fuses melodic female vocals, drilling riffs
and galloping drums.

All the music created so far was recorded, mixed and arranged by producer
and co writer Elram Boxer at ‘Boxer Studios’, and mastered by Thomas “Plec”
Johansson at ‘The Panic Room’ - Sweden.
In early 2014 Shiran released her debut EP “Warm Winter Day“, the EP was
very well accepted by international and local crowds, and was sold out in
weeks.
Since it started, Shiran shared stages with local metal bands and rock artists, and
headlined several shows in israel, including the female fronted festival “Battle
of the babes”.
In May 2017 Shiran Band was chosen to be the main supporting act for the
huge and internationally successful metal band "@Lacuna Coil" on their Israeli
concert.
Later that year the band supported two more high volume concerts:
“@Dorothy Polonium” from Finland, and “@Desert”- Israel’s biggest melodic metal
act.
2018 was a meaningful year for “Shiran Band”. This year the band started and
successfully completed a crowdfunding campaign to release their first LP titled
:”Release The Bounds”.
Three weeks after reaching the crowdfunding goal “Shiran” had won the
“Wacken Metal Battle” finals in israel!
