Shiva Child

Darius Brandenburg is a musician, DJ, teacher, producer and all around creator. He graduated from the College of the Arts in Windhoek, Namibia, He is certified in African Performing Arts. Born in Motown, Detroit and raised in Atlanta and Hamburg, Germany Darius experienced the best of both Worlds. Both mechas for innovative music. Drumming in bands on stage and in the studio, from age 14 lead him to his first record deal at age 16. At age 19 he moved back to Germany, in Berlin he began DJing and teaching music to young children. Being introduced to European night-life he began, promoting and creating his own art related events and parties. He then decided to expand his sound and musical abilities by moving to Windhoek, Namibia. While in Africa he studied guitar, djembe, piano, marimba as well as mbira and acquired experience teaching these instruments to children. Continuing with hosting cultural events he helped create a 3 day arts festival called “The Kalahari Festival of the Arts”. Working on everything from live theater music and sound effects to playing in metal bands to producing commercial music.
