S.H.O. is a Belizean-American artist that was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. S.H.O. which stands for Still Holding Out, grew up mostly in the Jungles, a tough part of L.A. near the historical Baldwin Village. His name sends a message to the music industry and the record labels: he won't sell out or settle for a raw deal! S.H.O. has a vision of letting the world understand that "They Never Heard it Like This" which is the name of his sound. When asked what kind of impact he wants to make on the music game, S.H.O. says this, "I grew up in tough conditions, surrounded and influenced by gangs. I want my music to encourage and uplift the people in my community. I also want to educate others about my culture of Belize, which is deeply rooted in my music.
