Loren Haas, known by fans as Shockpoint, is an up-and-coming DJ/producer based out of Phoenix, AZ (USA). He is most known for his experimental sound design and offbeat, punchy basses compounded with a cinematic approach to songwriting, often blurring the lines between different genres of bass music.

Equipped with the technical knowledge of traditional schooling alongside four rigorous years of professional mentorship, Shockpoint combines the clean precision of fundamental music education with the scrappiness of a DIY, punk-fueled producer; relentlessly searching for ways to push the envelope and keep listeners surprised by what they hear.

With roughly two years on the circuit, Loren has gone from self-releasing all of 2021 with twenty-five monthly listeners to now over 2,200+ fans, taking first place in Oski x NEOTEK's "California" remix competition on Quality Goods Records, and achieving releases on several other prominent labels across vast genres including Bypass Audio, Hard Tooth Records, Riddim Network, Hybrid Trap and Australia’s Eighty-Six Records.

Fast-forward to 2023; Shockpoint's unique style has now been picked up on Bypass Audio's Compilation 002, receiving acclaim for its irregular syncopation and bass design, leading the way for his debut EP - an ambitious 5-track tour-de-force titled "Into Nothing," to close out the year.
