S.H.O.K.K. - Hard Trance since 1999
S.H.O.K.K. (Marco aka Reverb & Claudio aka Giotto DJ) discovered their passion for electronic music during their joint school days in the late 90s. Marco being the technical mastermind and Claudio the DJ and public face of the project, they worked together for 5 years music creating genre-defining Hardtrance Classix such as; Folie a Deux, Isn’t It All A Little Strange, and many anthemic crossover remixes such as Cosmic Gate's <a href="spotify:track:33aTlSM5bpqHF9VGupafIH" data-name="Back to Earth - S.H.O.K.K. Remix">Back to Earth - S.H.O.K.K. Remix</a>, Dave Joy <a href="spotify:track:0N9TcKwxCtFmhEitos14Q5" data-name="First Impression - S.H.O.K.K. Mix - 2009 Remaster">First Impression - S.H.O.K.K. Mix - 2009 Remaster</a>, Altitude’s “Altitude”, and Signum’s seminal <a href="spotify:track:6QkDnwezLHT7HKqDHcMvrH" data-name="Coming On Strong - S.H.O.K.K. Remix - Mix Cut">Coming On Strong - S.H.O.K.K. Remix - Mix Cut</a>
Having toured the UK, Europe, Australia and South Africa extensively from the most intimate clubs to major events such as Dancevalley, Energy, Godskitchen or Tidy Weekender, both S.H.O.K.K. and <a href="spotify:artist:4fdgfTdcaVmMPXpVUSC4G0" data-name="Flutlicht">Flutlicht</a> (for which Marco collaborated with Daniel) became one of Switzerland’s major exports of Trance and Hardtrance. As their taste of music began to change, in 2003 they decided to split and go their separate ways.
In 2008, Claudio joined forces with Nicolas (<a href="spotify:artist:14LWsmsDc1fSm8JYbmSlub" data-name="Space Raven">Space Raven</a>) and the partnership has gone from strength to strength ever since, releasing fresh music on the who is who of Hardtrance labels such as Hard Trance Europe (HTE), Phoenix, Joyride, Metamorph, Hyper Reality, Tidy and Nukleuz.
