Shotgun Combo Biography
This wittingly fresh new band was formed March 2014 in an attempt to penetrate the local music industry. Originally from different great bands, these four talented individuals collaborated and within 2 months was able to write 10 original songs and already played in various respectable bars in the metro.
Cris Genato leading on vocals, Brian Sta. Ana on guitar, Johnson Espadilla on bass and Boyet Robleado on the drums. Armed with their explosive music, gun-shot lyrics and witty antics they are busy touring around elsewhere to master their music and gain more exposures in the music scene.
A year and a half later, in the midst of their gigs, the band was confronted with the sad and sudden demise of their drummer Boyet Robleado. Still in mourning and confused as whether to stop or continue, they were faced with their greatest challenge yet... Finding a drummer heavy enough to fill in the shoes of their fallen comrade.
A couple of months of contemplation has led the band to pursue with their music. And as fate intervened, they found themselves a drummer in their own backyard. Polo Auxtero, a friend, a colleague, and bound by the same flames that drives them with the desire for greatness.
With their current line-up all set and ready to roll, they rocked stages out, gigs after gigs, earning them a bigger following and a hungrier urge for success. Determined and inspired, Shotgun Combo came back with a blast more heavier, louder and funkier than before.
