Today Showdog is Gijs Kerkhoven & Sander van Munster. Together with drummer Jeroen Theunissen they recorded their debut EP in one day in 2007 ("Wat een lekker plaatje is het geworden. Showdog heeft immers songs!" Musicfrom.nl) but then took extensive time for their self-titled debut-album, released in November 2009 ("slimme popliedjes met scherpe samenzang en gevoel voor een sterke melodie" according to OOR). After Jeroen moved to Spain, Gijs and Sander played as a duo on many stages throughout the Netherlands (including De Popronde) and released a handful of singles (including "OK", Hollandse Nieuwe at VPRO's 3voor12).

A new EP is out now.
