Shrouded Prey

We’re a hard rock trio from Ithaca, NY who love what we do because we do what we love, making music! Since early 2018 we have gone through many lineup changes, scrapped songs, and hours of hard work to bring our listeners music we are proud of. We hope that our music can be as much of a passion to you as it is to us.

In the time that we’ve been a band we’ve gone through many lineup changes, but through every lineup the three of us always stuck together. In the end we decided that the three of us would have to figure out how to be a trio, and through a lot of trial and error we found the perfect setup. Our singer, Myst, tried learning bass, and our bassist, Lite, tried switching to guitar, while our drummer, Snow, tried learning both in order to help write. In the end we found this wasn’t working. After doing some research and testing, we found what we needed by looking to Royal Blood. With using a certain assortment of pedals, we were able to make one bass act as both a bass and a guitar.

Our first show was September 7th at Deep Dive in Ithaca, NY with Cobra Cadaver, Pelican Movement, and Beams. At this show we shattered the mold and gave a strong, powerful performance.
