Shruthi S began singing at the age of 8, learning the basics from her mother and stepped into the recording theater at the age of 15.
She has done playback singing, background scores and dubbing for a few short films, Jathigal Illayadi Papa, Nam Unarvugal, Avalum Nanum, etc.
Her first debut single was "Unn Parvayin Azhagu", for Jathigal Ilayadi Papa as the female lead.
Shruthi S made her debut in playback in Kannada in 2018 as the female lead, singing "Nee Saniha Bandhare", from the movie Dhanyosmi.
She also has been a part of a few music related TV shows.
Album "MANJANATHEYE", released by Mathan S Raja, Shruthi S has sung the female lead along with the playback singer Sreekanth Hariharan.
Shruthi S has worked with devotional compositions too such as "Nirvana Shatakam", and recently started working with the renown devotional music composer Sri Karumari Karna.
She's working with various top graded artists and music producers in the Tamil film industry.
