Shubham Mishra

Shubham started working as a child actor when he was 6 years old. At the age of 7, as per his father’s advice, he had to give a career break to complete his school education. After completing school, he enrolled at Government Film and Television Institute India(a well-known Film College) to study filmmaking where he got the opportunity to watch and appreciate world cinema and be associated with a few projects(such as short films, documentaries, etc.) After completing the course, he began assisting some of the finest directors in India and learned the craft of direction by working in the field. Meanwhile, he also joined the theatre in Bangalore. He spent his three years working as an assistant/associate director and also performing in English and Hindi plays. In 2016, his short film won the “Excellency Award” at Swachh Bharat Short Film Festival in India. Since then he has made 21 TV commercials/advertising films, 7 short films, and 2 music videos, which have won multiple awards and been appreciated in 57 film festivals, 26 countries and 4 continents. In 2023, the Luxembourg Art Prize awarded him the “CERTIFICATE OF ARTISTIC MERIT” in 9 languages for his artworks. He is also an undergraduate in English Literature and has passed/topped many competitive exams on a national and international level. He loves reading books, watching movies, making artwork, playing football, exercising and cooking.
