Shusmita Anis is a prominent modern Bengali singer from Bangladesh. She is the direct disciple of Nazrul proponent of the Indian Subcontinent Late Feroza Begum. As Kazi Nazrul Islam is the national poet of Bangladesh artiste Shusmita Anis looks forward to popularizing Nazrul songs globally especially among the youth. She was a child artist in national television of Bangladesh and won the first prize for Nazrul Sangeet in an annual national competition on performing arts Notun Kuri. Artiste Shusmita Anis graduated from California, U.S as a Graphic designer and also holds a leadership position in a reputed organization of Bangladesh.
