Releasing 3 studio albums in 2023, and 12 EPs in 2022, Brighton based Singer-Songwriter Si Connelly has continued his prolific assent since 2016’s debut album ‘Youth War & Joy’.
With tour supports with Ocean Colour Scene, Dexy’s Midnight Runners, Get Cape Where Cape Fly, Toploader, Skippinish, Bob Mould and Love, Si’s heavy tour schedule has also seen him picking up audiences across the UK, Europe and US.
Si caught the eye of Brit-Award-winning Producer Chris Potter (The Verve, Blur, The Rolling Stones) and Grammy-Award winning Producer Dom Morley (Adele, Amy Winehouse) to help create his debut album for free.
The albums lead track ‘Hurt You’ featured on hit ITV drama Monroe, and was also picked up by Coldplay, who backed Si’s vocal performance. Hurt You peaked at 19 on the UK iTunes chart, and the album went on to receive radio and television placement in many territories, including Radio 2 airplay and encouragement from Jonathon Ross in the UK.
After a successful crowd-funding campaign, 2017 saw the release of Si’s second album ‘Eject’ (Sony/Chrysalis), featuring multiple producers; Sam Williams (Supergrass), Bacon & Quarmby (KT Tunstall), Chenzo Townsend (James Blunt/Keane), Mike Crossey (Arctic Monkeys). This double- album, was quickly followed up by third album ‘Jackals & Dogs’, Nevertheless, and latest album The Big Blue.
With two albums penned for 2024 along with tour supports.
