Soul is at the root of everything for SI, having found his musical abilities in the church SI prioritises body and spirit in his artistic style. Heavily influenced by his Christian upbringing as well as his local community, the London producer sound combines elements of gospel, bounce, grime and soul. At the tender age of 16 the self-taught producer spent days in isolation religiously watching YouTube videos to perfect his own unique sound.
Influenced by the likes of Pharrell, Kanye and Timbaland the SI is a breath of fresh air to the UK music scene. SI’s ability to explore various genres has garnished him a reputation as the go-to producer to work with among his peers. Having worked with plethora of artists such as Dremar, NickSilver, Mak Khanye, Dahlia Rae, Pharaoh The 47, Baby Pink and Isasiah Shoticaury it's clear to say SI’s talents know no boundary.
This year SI embarks on a new journey to develop his talents even more, as a founding member of record label and creative collective ‘LASTNORMALYEAR’.
