Siberian Redsocks (aka. Sibsocks) is an alternative rock band hailing from Indonesia and consisting of Abicitra Herdimas, Muhammad Fikri, and Muhammad Rizky Ramadhan.
Formed in 2008 as a high school group, the band currently have one EP album named “Newborn” [2016] and subsequently released several singles afterwards with “Saturday”, “Human Skin”, “Northern Ballad” and “Rainy Days” as respective titles. Between that period, the band also decided to re-release a remake of the classic “The Story of Broken Holiday”, which was the band’s first ever single that has never been publicly released.
The trio is now releasing the second EP album with “Kenopsia” as the main title as the title itself has been inspired by Siberian Redsocks’ most recent lyrics and music that often express loneliness, disappointment, and sorrow.
