Sid Mallick

Sid Mallick is a producer, songwriter & recording artist based in Sydney, Australia.


Raised in a musically oriented family, Sid relocated to Sydney from Bangalore, India at the age of 8. Inspired by a family friend, the music of Ed Sheeran, Justin Bieber & Will Singe he decided to pick up a guitar & pursue his interest in music at an early age, equipped with nothing but a loop pedal & basic recording software.


Fast forward a few years and Sid took to production software, crafting his first beats & experimenting with vocal production, influenced by the new wave in Australian Hip Hop & R&B, namely the music of Anfa Rose, Manu Crooks & the production of Dopamine & Toronto-based Wondagurl.


‘MOTOROLA FREESTYLE’ marks Sid’s attempt to break free of previous relationships, the constraint of expectations & make music solely for himself. It marks a shift in his musical direction and guides it towards a destination he can call his own, serving as a reminder of his most recent transitional period, symbolising newfound maturity, growth and change.


Sid’s production credits include Aussie heavyweights, ONEFOUR, Manu Crooks, & Spanian along with notable International artists - Juice WRLD & ¿Teo ? (under Jaden Smith’s MSFTS imprint).
