Swedish psych-rockers side effects started out back in 2009 at the age of 15, playing club shows around their hometown of Stockholm. Shortly thereafter they signed a record deal after a show and began working on their debut.


<a href="spotify:album:72LlhhKfbVDoel85KYonuJ" data-name="A Walk in the Space Between Us">A Walk in the Space Between Us</a> was released and met with great reviews. It was also nominated for a swedish Grammy.
The album was produced by Kalle Gustafsson Jerneholm of The Soundtrack of Our Lives in Svenska Grammofonstudion and mixed by Michael Ilbert at the Hansa Studio in Berlin.


The members of side effects were previously part of the constellation <a href="spotify:artist:5CWuUTdVSCNG12vT9gcb7K" data-name="Ebbot & The Indigo Children">Ebbot & The Indigo Children</a> with lead singer Ebbot Lundberg, formerly in bands such as <a href="spotify:artist:3R8BrrPXskPzo75iy6FadG" data-name="Union Carbide Productions">Union Carbide Productions</a> and the Soundtrack Of Our Lives.


January 11th 2019 side effects released their second full length album called ”Some Other Day” and went on a European tour.

March 20th 2019 the song <a href="spotify:album:3dop1u34GkZ0yExhaxAkrY" data-name="I'm Falling">I'm Falling</a> appeared on the soundtrack for the first episode of tv series Pretty Little Liars: the Perfectionist
