Brazilian singer/songwriter Sideral (born Wilsom Sideral) began singing and playing guitar in his native Alfenas, joining a band called Contatos Imediatos in 1985. When that group disbanded in 1993, he started playing in a foursome called Capitao Gancho, later moving to Belo Horizonte and joining the local reggae act Omeriah. He assembled Wilsom Sideral e Banda Nave soon after. Universal Music signed him up, issuing a self-titled album produced by Dudu Marote in Sao Paulo. Na Paz followed in 2001. ~ Drago Bonacich, Rovi
