Silas Mann is an 19 year old multi-instrumentalist and producer from Raleigh, North Carolina and based out of Nashville, Tennessee. He started making music at 6 years old when he moved to the United States and began taking piano lessons. Silas took online classes in music production and began to record his own music in 2020 during lockdown. He makes music of many different genres including experimental folk, pop, midwest emo, shoegaze, and slowcore. His sound is experimental and raw. His influences include artists like Adrianne Lenker, Elliot Smith, Duster, Sign Crushes Motorist, Linda Perhacs, American Football, The Beatles, Whirr, Big Thief, and Phoebe Bridgers. Silas Mann promotes his music on Instagram and Tik Tok by playing covers of songs and originals. Silas is currently working on his second album to follow up his debut album, Pareidolia. Silas studies Audio Engineering at Belmont University.
