In an era of hardcore breakdowns and a large saturation of emo bands in the mid 00's, Silent Armada was one of San Diego's most unique bands, bringing a blend of Rock and Electronic elements to the table. Formed in early 2007, the goal of Silent Armada has always been one thing, to make the listener dance with as much energy as possible, while simultaneously challenging the listener with in depth lyrics, and unorthodox musical progressions.
In 2008, Silent Armada recorded their only self titled EP with producer Brian Grider at SCM Recordings in San Diego. They went on to support this album for about a year before deciding to individually pursue separate projects. Silent Armada as a band retired towards the end of 2009.
Silent Armada is:
Shawn Morasco - Drums
Tim Rader - Keys
Earnie Ashwood - Guitars
Jamie Ramirez - Vocals
Later to be joined by:
Evan Gillig - Guitars
Jake Armbruster - Bass
