We are Silent Effect, a Rock Duo local to Portland, Oregon. Our sound consists of all the essentials: amp'ed up guitar, intense vocals, thunderous bass, and in-your-face drums. In a time where music seems to be overproduced and instruments are being replaced by computers, we feel by keeping our sound raw and uninhibited, we can help keep the essence of true rock alive.

With influence from Foo Fighters, Nirvana, Metallica, Green Day, Bowling for Soup, Blink 182, Local H, Weezer, Coheed and Cambria, Thin Lizzy all the way to the King himself: Elvis Presley, we have generated a sound in the genre of Rock that we can claim as our own!
