Silja Rós is an Icelandic musician, actress, and screenwriter known for blending neo-soul with pop songwriting. With a background in jazz vocals, her music explores themes of love, self-discovery, and emotional complexity. Silja began her career in Reykjavík, performing live and honing her craft before studying jazz vocals at FÍH music school. She later moved to Los Angeles and Copenhagen, where she collaborated with international songwriters and further developed her unique sound.

Her debut album in 2017 earned significant radio play in Iceland, and her second album continued to build her fan base. Silja also gained recognition as an actress, starring in the popular TV series Skvíz while also co-writing the show.

Silja's upcoming album, …letters from my past (out May 2025), showcases a mix of soulful melodies, heartfelt lyrics, and jazz-infused pop. With influences from Jacob Collier, Olivia Dean, and Sabrina Claudio, her sound is both introspective and captivating. Silja's music reflects her journey of personal growth, offering listeners a rich blend of authenticity and emotion.
