"Showing real promise so far in their brief career, Inverness band Silver Coast play emotive, atmospheric rock, with chiming guitars and soaring vocals that could one day fill stadia" - Vic Galloway (BBC Radio Scotland)
Silver Coast are a Scottish Alt/Rock band;
Aaron Murray - Vocals, Guitars, Keys
Kyle Mackenzie - Guitars, Backing Vocals
Michael Cappie - Drums & Percussion
Alasdair Mackintosh – Bass, Backing Vocals
Andrew Thomas – Guitars, Backing Vocals
2018 saw the band play their biggest support show to date when they were asked directly by Feeder frontman Grant Nicholas to open for them at their Barrowlands, Glasgow date as part of their “Best Of” tour. This seen the band connect with a brand-new audience.
The band later recruited ex All So Simple frontman Aly Mackintosh as Bassist and Kyle Mackenzie on Guitars.
2019 marks the start of a more refined sound for the band, taking influence from their past sound and incorporating new music tastes to create an Alt Rock/Pop Punk tone, Something the band are very excited with.
“Dreamers” was the first display of this new sound with its release in February, receiving great reviews from bloggers and Amelia Vandergast – A&R Factory.
With fans still loving “Dreamers”, the band hit them with their second release of the year one month after with “Stay” which caught the attention of many with its emotionally driven lyrics.
The band have just finished filming a new music video for their forthcoming single.
