Bringing to mind the tainted sparkle of The Cure alongside the Scottish brogue of modern contemporaries such as Fatherson and Biffy Clyro, Silver Haar blend shimmering guitar melodies with anthemic vocals and hooks which will stick in your head for days.
2021 has been an amazing debut year for the band, starting with the release of their first EP “Lights Out” in July which was nominated for EP of the year by The Weekender Magazine.
Title track and debut single “Lights Out” featured on Deliberator Records’ “The Sound of Today” compilation CD and received a tonne of airplay including from Jim Gellatly on Amazing Radio, Zoe Macleod on Islington Radio alongside a host of local and national radio stations and podcasts.
The band are now putting the finishing touches to their debut album, set to be released by Glasgow’s Deliberator Records. The band were also an integral part of an incredible team of new artists creating the Mind Aid 2021 single - all proceeds going to Tiny Changes to support mental health in memory of Frightened Rabbit singer Scott Hutchison.
2022 saw 2 brand new singles and “Live” by as released on July 1st which showcases the impressive energy and musicianship of the group.
Following a hiatus and set for release in April 2024, single “New Years Day” finds lead singer Tom Brogan collaborating again with Joe Adhemar. The song echoes sentiments of The Blue Nile and is a welcome return for the band.
