Silver-Straw is a self-professed social introvert. He is an artist/producer born in Uganda but moved to Sweden with his family when I was nine years old.
He releases music in 3 different languages, English, Luganda and Swedish.
He started making music with his older brother at the age of thirteen under the group name Racomstarz. In the beginning the music he created could be classified as Rap with a touch of Afro.
But it has later developed into a fusion of different but related musical styles that he calls
Ug-Ras Sound.
He started producing his own music out of necessity in the beginning as he did’t have the resources to get beats that he could rap over. But this has later become his preferred way of working.
"My main reason for creating music no matter the language is to awake an ever present sense of pure joy in whoever that ’s listening.
I will live and die a very happy man as long as I’m able to do that."
