Simon A Stewart released 'If We Keep Playing' in 2024 featuring new songs incorporating themes of financial crisis, gambling, and homelessness, alongside the romantic ballads. Stewart is operating on the margins of the field, influenced by the likes of Tom Waits and Bob Dylan but forging a new and innovative approach to songwriting and recording that incorporates melodies and sounds from European folk, classical music and blues. Stewart's Mediterranean journey-inspired 'Across the Land' (2006) is also available on Spotify as is his first significant collection of demo recordings, 'The Difference in You'. Stewart's EP was produced by the highly talented Chris Keats.
