Born in Brescia in 1976, Simone Scaramuzzi discovered vinyl at 14 and made it the heartbeat of his artistic identity. From cult booths like Tenax in Florence and Mazoom in Sirmione to international releases, he keeps pushing the boundaries of Rominimal and Microhouse, weaving razor-sharp grooves with hypnotic textures.
Inside his Doc DjStudio, tracks take shape for labels such as Armada Music, Rebirth, Paul’s Boutique, Green Force, and more. The single “Django” (2012, Armada) landed in the sets of top selectors worldwide, while the “Warriors” EP (3 Minds Records) reveals his funk-tinged, experimental side.
Today, Simone is still crate-digging, refining subtle beats, and crafting cuts ready to turn any dancefloor into an intimate, sophisticated journey.
