Simpleton is the soloproject of twenty-three year old songwriter Chris Berendsen.
Combining the sounds of bands like The Strokes, The Wombats and MGMT, Simpleton creates songs that are characterized by catchy hooks, static beats and coming of age lyrics. His sound ranges from guitar-driven indierock to more synth-based altpop.
