Simply Jesus

SIMPLY JESUS: Is the gospel-centered Christian music ministry of husband and wife duo, JC and Tiffany Couch.
From humble beginnings: JC lead worship annually for Oasis, a special needs event at Oil Belt Christian Service Camp in Flora, Illinois. After a couple of years, JC met Chris Shaon who volunteered to play drums for the event, and Tiffany joined on vocals. In 2018 Chris would invite Terry Edwards to fill in on Bass, but come to find out, Terry was an even better lead guitar player! There was a chemistry that couldn't be denied, so JC invited them to start a band to spread the Gospel. Over the next year and a half they gained traction leading different worship events across Illinois and Indiana. On Feb 16, 2020 tragedy struck! Terry would suffer a brain aneurysm, and pass away the next day Feb 17, 2020. Devastated, JC, Chris and Tiffany would press on with other musicians, but it would eventually take its toll. JC and Tiffany parted ways with Chris, and began their mission of sharing more urgently people's need for Jesus; expressing Terry's story.
Simply Jesus exists to glorify Jesus through the proclamation of the true Biblical Gospel through our music, events, and merch. We believe there is no substitute for conversations using the written word of God (The Bible) "So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ" (Romans 10:17). It is our prayer that God will use our music, and our merch to help facilitate and stimulate those conversations.
