Simplystics is a Seattle Bred, Los Angeles based producer/singer/songwriter with a diverse musical background rooted in Blues, Trap, and EDM. Starting off as a hip hop producer, the budding artist shifted into electronic dance music at the age of 15 when he became intoxicated with the sounds of Dubstep artists like Skrillex and Caspa & Rusko. This influence of bass heavy dub-plates, speaker bending sound design and head-knocking drum sounds would come to influence Simplystic’s style for years to come, and lead him to build the production skills that have since allowed him to write, record, and produce his last several records.
Over a decade later, after shifting into a more organic sound using his own guitar and vocals, Simplystics has crafted a unique, unmistakable musical style that pulls on every element of his multi-faceted musical past. Edgy, Thoughtful, and a little bit Rock and Roll, the sound of Simplystics most recent release “Do Me Like That” and his upcoming single “Wasted” play into the rising Artist’s diverse background with screaming guitar licks, heavy hitting drums and window-rattling sub lines that will make you want to roll up to the party with a pair of shades on and a cigarette in your mouth.
