Since94

John Peto (born October 1st 1994), known by his stage name “Since94”, is a Canadian/Middle-Eastern rapper, singer, songwriter. He was born and raised in Mississauga Ontario Canada, a vibrant city which has been the backdrop behind Since94’s sound, pulling inspiration from all the multifaceted music and cultures his city has to offer.



Since94 grew up in a world full of hip hop, r&b, jazz and art spaces - all influences that have helped shape his creativity. In his early teens, artist’s such as Notorious B.I.G and 50 Cent played a big part in his lifestyle but it was the new age artist wave such as Lil Uzi Vert and Nav that lent a major influence in his artistic ascendancy.



Starting out, Since94 worked on his craft at his basic home studio, rapping over industry beats and sharpening his wordplay. At the age of 24 Since94 met “Mikhail”, a well known local producer who has worked with the likes of many major artists around the world. After hearing some of Mikhail’s production, Since94 knew this was the sound he was searching for to begin creating his new EP.



Since94 has since completed his first studio EP entitled “Bank On ME”, consisting of 6 original songs produced by Mikhail. His first EP will debut in early 2019. He is currently working on his second EP alongside Mikhail and singer/songwriter Tim North.
