Sine Wave Square began as a collaboration between Lennart Lundh, guitarist for Gothenburg-based indie rock band Klass II, and Albin Ström, electronic producer for Arcade Velocity (also the drummer for Klass II). They initially recorded songs for commercials, but received such positive feedback from people in the music industry that they decided to expand their sound and their team. They were fortunate to find talented vocalist Francis Pettersson, from the indie folk project Francis Moon, and the trio was formed.
Their debut single, "I follow the light," was inspired by the beautiful landscapes of Sweden and showcases their dreamy sound, with Francis´s vocals soaring over the pulsating rhythms and dreamy synth lines, creating a sound that's both melancholic and hopeful. The song aims to bring hope during times of uncertainty and has a nostalgia-inducing feel that lingers long after it's over.
