I am a composer and songwriter from a town on the east coast of Ireland called Dundalk. Lots of people will know Dundalk because of bands like The Corrs and songwriters like Liam Reilly. I am classically trained on the piano and love to play music by Beethoven, Debussy and Mendelssohn. However, my first love is Irish traditional music and I really enjoy bringing the classical elements and the folk elements together in my compositions.
Because I write music in many different styles and for different purposes, it is impossible for me to categorize my music into one or two genres. I enjoy being creative, whatever way that manifests itself. I am the writer of a children's Christmas song 'Nearly Christmas', which is making its way around the world, becoming a Christmas staple for many children and adults!
