Sinis (short for sinister) is nothing shy of a menacing word-smith. Based out of New Britain “Hardhittin’”, CT. he was molded by the sound of skillful artists during the Golden Era of Hip Hop in the 90’s. His sound is a balance of expert rhyming and relatable story telling.
Early in his recording career, he developed a series of mixtapes entitled “The iPod Masterpieces” rapping over some of his personal favorite industry producers’ instrumentals. This lead up to his first original studio LP, “You’re Welcome” in 2009 produced by longtime friend and fellow emcee Arkidelik.
His most notable performances to date are sharing the stage with Doc Ish, Chris Webby and Blacastan for Doc’s First Treatment record release party and showcasing his skills alongside Truss Production’s own Charles Tyson, EastLane Donté, Ward and Trey Tuck for the independent label’s Tri-State tour series.
Now with the release of “BED” produced by Doc Ish; there’s no telling where he might end up next.
