Siobhan Ennis (b. 1976), is a Northern Irish producer/ songwriter known professionally as SINNES. She studied songwriting through ICMP and has been writing multi-genre material since 2020.
Central to SINNES identity are MicroManic social musings. Lyrics mix introspection with the conversational, offering a familiar, relatable connection.
Expect a blend of alt rock, folktronica, big beat, synth pop and pop-rap vocals. Stylistic influences range from Four Tet, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Beastie Boys, Lana Del Rey and Miley Cyrus. Early musical expression was harnessed through DJing DnB in the late '90's / early '00's and has shaped her sound with an industrial and liquid funk edge.
2025 has been non-stop for SINNES with her debut single 'Drag Them Down' kicking-starting a further 5 releases including a rework of 'What It Is' by Mark Knopfler and a lament, 'High-Wire', featuring singer songwriter Oliver Morrow. SINNES also returned to the turntables to take part in the 'Visionaries' series celebrating the early DnB and Jungle scene in Northern Ireland.
