Pianist & composer Sinziana Mircea, Young Steinway Artist, carries out an international career spanning over Europe, North America and Asia. The Romanian pianist made her debut at the Tokyo Metropolitan Theater/Japan and St Martin-in-the-Fields London/UK when she was only 20. Four years later, she made her debut at the Carnegie Hall in New York in a sold-out recital, rewarded by the American public with standing ovations. Soon after, Sinziana undertook her first China tour.
Her recent appearances include Carnegie Hall, Bucharest Radio Hall, Stockholm Philharmonic, Tallinn Philharmonic, Harvard Club New York, Bucharest Philharmonic, London Steinway Hall, Tokyo Steinway Hall, Sapporo Concert Hall, Nanjing Arts Center, Harbin Concert Hall.
Sinziana is a winner of the Van Cliburn Foundation & TCU Scholarship Award (2014), as well as prize-winner of the Miami International Piano Academy (2016).
Recordings of her live concerts were broadcast by all major European radio channels for classical music, including BBC Radio 3, since 2012. On September 20th 2020, her live recital from Bucharest, containing works by Chopin, as well as her original compositions, was broadcast on the BBC Radio 3 and 12 other radio channels as the highlight of the program.
She has released two albums: UNENDING LOVE (2017) and NIHIL SINE DEO (2016). Her third album, FORTUNA, will be released in Dec 2020, presenting her own compositions and variations on classical themes.
