Sirius Issues

I was born and raised in the Bronx, NYC. Creating music has been a passion of mine as far back as I could remember. I grew up listening to classical music and oldies, but then started to include rock, alternative, R&B and Hip-Hop, among others. Music has saved my life on numerous occasions and has helped me get through my toughest times. I created the name “Sirius Issues” back in 1996. I was always told that I was too serious all the time and through my passion of astrology, I also learned that I had a lot in common with the star Sirius. I had an extremely rough childhood and that’s where the “Issues” in my name originated. As I grew older and wiser, I decided to let go of my past trauma and “Issues” now refers to trauma the world is being put under, including from politics and social injustices. You can say I now mainly speak about “serious issues” in the world and in my personal life. I’m not interested in the commercial crap you hear on the radio 24/7. I will use my voice as a beacon of hope in a world full of darkness. Thank you for listening.
