Sishii

Born in 1998 in South Africa's KwaZulu Natal province, Ntobeko 'Sishii' Sishi has been a familiar face in the country since his sudden rise to stardom in 2020 on a hit local television series.

A little-known fact is that long before his work as an actor, Sishii was a musician.

No stranger to eclecticism, Sishii has cited diverse musical influences for his work, ranging from Bon Iver to Kendrick Lamar, The Weeknd, and Michael Jackson to Future.

Convention has never been something that Sishii has liked. "This is just how we do things around here" is the kind of sentence that would probably make him want to disembark with immediate effect and without hesitation.

Built on a foundation of eclecticism and fuelled by a lifetime of doing what people said he couldn't, wouldn't and shouldn't, Sishii has set his sights on serving his longstanding audience (and you, if you're new) with an immense offering of new music, with releases spanning 52 consecutive weeks from May 2024 to May 2025.
