Rooted in the ancient, embracing the contemporary, SITAR METAL has a Bharatiya Shastriya Sangeet forefront & a Heavy Metal Backdrop led by the Sitar, presenting a sound which is both Bharatiya & Globally resonant.
Since 2011, Rishabh Seen aimed at expanding the worldwide reach of Sitar which he knew could only happen if Sitar was taken to musical territories beyond the usual Genres it was used in. Pioneering the rare cause of Instrumental Music, SITAR METAL was sonically established in 2015 by Rishabh Seen. After initial Sitar improvised cover versions, Mute The Saint Ep & Sitar Metal Album, 2 ground-breaking records were released to international acclaim & performed at some of the Biggest Festivals in Bharat.
