sittpainghtet (စစ်ပိုင်ထက်) or as his fans call him ,Sam, is one of the most famous R&B/Pop music sensations from Myanmar. After coming onto the scenes into the musical industry of Myanmar with his number one nationwide hits "Thit Sar Shi Par Naw" and "Shwe Chay Chin" in 2019, he has gone on to release many more hits. His first and only collaboration with a legendary Burmese singer He’ Lay, "Nat Tha Mee", was also a huge success. The pop star released his highly anticipated debut album "Lights" on October 10 of 2019, gaining him one of the most loyal and passionate fan bases in the country, "Lighters".

Shortly after his album release, the singer performed his first International show in Bangkok, Thailand on February of 2020. A unique voice with dance/choreography incorporated into his performances, it differentiated him from other acts within the country. The way Sam interacts with his fans has also created a strong/loving bond. Deemed as the "Prince of Myanmar" by his fans and with more than a million followers on Facebook and millions of hits on YouTube/musical platforms, the musical star definitely has the love of fans around the country of Myanmar.

Born in Lashio and raised in Mandalay, the pop singer has always loved music since a really young age. He started taking piano lessons since the age of 6 and started performing/singing in school dances and plays since kindergarten. The music sensation graduated from Ayeyarwaddy International School (AIS) in 2020.
