Sixth Floor Memories

<a href="spotify:artist:0CJBeImte9KfYQDChq4JZh" data-name="Sixth Floor Memories">Sixth Floor Memories</a> is a solo project by Sander from Tilburg, The Netherlands. Without an active band, all effort was put into producing and mixing an EP in 2018. As a result, <a href="spotify:album:0VAtKexYsp7ergxMUHHbtj" data-name="Guitars, Electronics and Thoughts About You">Guitars, Electronics and Thoughts About You</a> eventually contained six songs, each featuring melancholic vibes across various genres. After the release, the musical endearver continued throughout 2019, during which multiple singles were released. As such, <a href="spotify:track:3xZuu8W0aXzL0bOv9sb1b8" data-name="Innocent - Original Demo">Innocent - Original Demo</a> was released in August 2019 and <a href="spotify:track:5EIEA4rpZdF9Kf3ssbk1ly" data-name="Love Is No Game - Original Demo">Love Is No Game - Original Demo</a> followed later that year. Critical appraisal came when year &#39;Love Is No Game&#39; won the Indie Music Contest (by For the Love of Bands) in early December &#39;19.

The variety of musical influences that Sixth Floor Memories hinted at on the debut EP is set to be expanded upon with the upcoming album, which features previously mentioned singles as well as six more tracks. Elements from genres such as hip-hop, post rock, synthwave, dream pop and more will be present on the album, which is set to be released in 2021.

Simultaneously, the creative output of Sixth Floor Memories expands beyond music, as a short film (featuring tracks from the album) is set to be released alongside the album. Single releases that precede the album go live in 2021, the first being <a href="spotify:album:3pHD11ubovIs1GxCOHGCoJ" data-name="Now I Explode">Now I Explode</a>, the second of which being <a href="spotify:track:45YeFcwHv56j3S4uIuxivB" data-name="Little Light">Little Light</a>, followed by <a href="spotify:album:4CYzhsMLIXkrlv5c7AOFZV" data-name="Interlude">Interlude</a>.
