Raised in Minnesota, SIX started piano and guitar lessons at 6 before music turned into something more personal—freestyling with his friends, trusting his ear, and learning by doing. That curiosity led him to the High School for Recording Arts in St. Paul, founded by a close friend of Prince, where he learned how to shape sound as deeply as he learned how to write and perform. Now writing, recording, and mixing all of his own music, he performs in Minnesota and makes songs drawn from real-life moments and struggles, blending his own experiences in an array of genres, drawing inspiration from a wide variety of artists like —$uicideboy$, Mac Miller, Lucki and Juice WRLD, all the way to The cure, OMD, New Order, Broadcast and The Smiths.
