Hailing from the streets of Soweto, Johannesburg South Africa, Njabulo Tsibu known by the stage name SKIIPS draws inspiration from his daily life experiences, influence around him, and the hood he grew up in. All the content he creates is ignited either by his romances, love life, the hustle, the hood he's from, everyday issues, girls, substance abuse, and of course sex. SKIIPS has an alter-ego that goes by PICASSO, whose sound is heavily influenced by the likes of Young Thug, Future, Roddy Ricch, Gunna, and more. Here he voices more about all his flaws, repercussions, mistakes, arrogance, street life, being trapped in the hood, fake friends, and street dealings. “I come from a place where nobody makes it out because the majority have been conceived by the streets, but I have to go against all odds because this music is the only thing that I have to break the generational curse of being BROKE in my family.”
