Cavan exists in a reality adjacent to this one where there’s literal magic in the air and if you ever get to see him perform live, you’ll feel it. The atmosphere changes to something that connects the energies of everyone in the room.
Skill Trees tells uncomfortable truths in ways that make you want to dance and shout along. Sure, love is real, but it’s messy and straining and beautiful and difficult. Upon listening to Skill Trees, you’ll notice a grit to the lyrics that tells of a person who has been through their own personal hells but you’ll also notice a glitter to the music that invokes hope in the hardship.
