SkinRunners

SkinRunners is a groundbreaking project band led by guitarist and songwriter Selçuk Eser, in collaboration with various talented guest musicians. Originally founded as the world's first NFT-based rock band created for the Metaverse, SkinRunners continues to innovate and evolve, reshaping its musical journey with each new release.

The band's name is inspired by the Navajo Indian myth of "skinwalkers" (yee naaldlooshii), witches capable of shapeshifting into animals and various creatures. This mythological reference symbolizes SkinRunners' dynamic nature, adapting and transforming through collaborations with different artists and musicians.

SkinRunners' debut single "Phoenix" featured the legendary bass guitar virtuoso Billy Sheehan and was produced by Can Şengün and Selçuk Eser (a.k.a. Selbond). The band’s second single, "Blue Dream," showcased one of the world's first fully AI-generated music videos, a pioneering effort in Turkey and globally.

As the band continues to explore new musical territories, SkinRunners remains a beacon of creativity, bridging the gap between the real world and the Metaverse.
