At first, SKiPPER! splashed the electro-pop world with their cover of the Legally Blonde hit “Perfect Day” by Hoku. But now with their third single on the way SKiPPER! is dialing it back. When COVID-19 hit the world, everyone was forced to isolate. With isolation came the exploration of nature. That sound and energy is captured in SKiPPER!’s new single Vintage. “Imagine two lovers running through an open field with the sun beaming down on their faces. They can hear birds chirping. They feel the crisp air and the grass between their toes. They are at peace and more importantly they are in love with a soul they’ve known before in another lifetime.”


The New York City based pair takes inspiration from HAIM, Lorde, Troye Sivan, Kacey Musgraves, and MUNA. SKiPPER! plans to bring ‘Purposeful Pop’ to their upcoming original tracks. While the juxtaposition of delicate and zestful melodies comes from the mind of both members, Corinne packs in lyrics that don’t fail to acknowledge the beauty in being organically honest. Michael fuses electronic synth pop with a warm acoustic twist into their new sound. As an audio engineer, Michael has toured with notable artists such as Alexander 23, Jeremy Zucker, and Chelsea Cutler.
