80's baby, 90's kid, and Baltimore native $korp Metah, short for Skorpion Metaphorz, has been around music his entire life. At a young age, he would follow his older brother, Mel Godsey Jr, everywhere imitating his rap style and learning proper delivery over various instrumentals. $korp Metahz passion for hip-hop led him down the road of audio production and live audio engineering. In 2005 Sallie Mae and other college loan debt collectors came knocking, Metahz alter ego (BWG) had to gain employment and music took a back seat. All awhile Songwriting and performing was always the primary goal.

Influenced by Soul, Jazz, Blues, 1990's Hip-Hop, Funk and Rock music. Making music is therapeutic for Metah and he plans to leave a legacy for his son in every bar. As an HueMan in the Land of Liberty, he provides for his family and must navigate Corporate America while maintaining his integrity, seeking the truth and pursuing justice. "We wear the mask" by Paul Laurence Dunbar best describes the daily challenges Skorp Metah encounters. Metah wants you to hear the zeal and excitement he has for the culture. You as the listeners have the opportunity to share his peaks of happiness and valleys of despair and know you are not alone in this experience.
