Skremzy

Skremzy is the moniker for the eclectic and innovative Canadian ambient, experimental, and electronic dance music composer/producer/musician, Tristan Forrest. As of 2024, his major discography is made up of a plethora of albums, EP’s, singles, and game soundtracks. He credits his musical influences to the likes of C418, TheFatRat, Alaskan Tapes, and pilotredsun. Tristan's musical background includes piano training and leading church worship services. He graduated with honours earning a certificate for the Langara Digital Music Production program in Vancouver, BC in 2024.

In 2020, Skremzy joined forces with Audiophobia (FKA Swamp Citae) and Newave Oceans to co-found Phoenix Artistrys, a community and artist first oriented independent online label dedicated to giving smaller artists more acknowledgement for their work. His music has been featured on every compilation since the label's conception.

In 2023, Skremzy released Today & Tomorrow, an album based on the transition to adulthood. Exploring the intricacies of navigating the next stage of your life, it speaks to the realities of the real world, finding your individual place in it, and love. At its core, Today & Tomorrow is an honest coming of age story.

His latest EP, The Network, is a celebration of internet nostalgia, catchy break-beats, and clever sampling. It features the likes of varied tempos, chill dance pop and a heavy hitting collaboration with Audiophobia.
