SKUUND is an international Post-rock/cold wave quartet, originally formed in 2003 in Poland as a post-rock, lo-fi band.
They released 2 EPs and were chosen for Polish National Radio 3’s 2007 split mixtape "Jarocin" by legendary radio DJ, Piotr Kaczkowski. Their first Polish LP "Nieoczekiwanie" was released in 2020. The album was well received and garnered airplay on several Polish radio stations, including Polish National Radio 3 and 4.
In 2021 a collaboration around a song by Martin Howard led to him joining the band as singer. Working through the strange times of lockdown, the band took a new direction culminating in the release of the second album: “Social Animal”.
“Social Animal” was released by Shore Dive Records and features a guest appearance by jazz saxophonist Colin Webster (known for working with Idles) and was produced by Telemachus.
