SKXNNX

SKXNNX, pronounced SKINNI, whose real name is Toukoum Soni Yvan Loïc, was born in Yaoundé, the capital of Cameroon. His journey into the music scene began at Nkoabang high school, where he joined a collective called GOFT Family, alongside notable
figures like Dr. DUGON. Upon completing his studies, he left Yaoundé to pursue engineering in Adamoua (Ngaoundéré), where he crossed paths with Sleym Boone, a rapper and beatmaker who profoundly influenced him with his avant-garde sounds. Their collaboration culminated in an album titled "CHAMBER MUSIC," entirely recorded in Sleym's student bedroom.
After earning his engineering diploma, SKXNNX decided to follow his passion for music and modeling. Aware of the sociocultural landscape in Cameroon, he chose to relocate to Russia, seeking new opportunities. Initially settling in St. Petersburg, SKXNNX took a hiatus from music and signed a professional modeling contract. He made his mark by walking the runways of the MERCEDES BENZ FASHION WEEK in Moscow and collaborating with renowned brands in the country.
