Coming from Tbilisi, Georgia, Sky Diving Penguins are influenced by The Beatles (is this passé again now?), Nirvana, Elliott Smith, Low & Ween to name a few.
Bandcamp (https://skydivingpenguins.bandcamp.com) featured our debut album on their 'New & Notable' section on 12 January 2022, writing "Tbilisi, Georgia band Sky Diving Penguins hone their approach to sharp, hooky power pop on their long-awaited debut".
The album has gained critical acclaim across online music e-zines/blogs (eg. Louder Than War - https://louderthanwar.com/sky-diving-penguins-sky-diving-penguins-album-review/).
We will be releasing a vinyl version of our album in 2023, which will be manufactured in the USA, and available to buy worldwide.
Currently working on their sophomore album in Tbilisi, Sky Diving Penguins hope to cement their growing reputation by playing some lives dates, and festivals, in 2023.
